Are you an experienced Civil Labourer looking for a stable contract with the potential for permanent employment? We are partnering with a key public sector client in Beerwah (Sunshine Coast Region) to recruit multiple skilled workers for essential infrastructure projects starting in early January.
The Opportunity
This role offers a competitive starting rate of $43.51 per hour and is structured as a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. While permanent employment is not guaranteed, it is the intended pathway for high-performing candidates demonstrating reliability and skill throughout the contract period.
Your focus will be on structural concreting for crucial government assets.
Desirable Experience (A distinct advantage):
Steel Fixing: Reading plans and accurate rebar tying.
Formwork: Building, setting out, and stripping timber/metal forms.
Concreting: Pouring, vibrating, screeding, and achieving quality finishes.
Specialised Task: Operating equipment for sawing and cutting concrete pavements (as per RIICRC319E).
Essential Requirements (Mandatory Tickets & Certifications)
To be eligible for site induction, you must hold the following valid credentials:
Construction Industry White/Blue Card
Manual Handling Certificate
RIICRC319E Certificate: Saw and Cut Concrete Pavements to Initiate Planned Cracks
Working in Proximity to Traffic (WPT) Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent RII tickets)
Licensing and Career Readiness
An MR (Medium Rigid) Licence is highly desirable.
Commitment to Training: If you do not hold an MR Licence, you must be willing to attain one as this is a requirement for operational readiness on site.
