About the Role
We are looking for a CAD Designer who understands that a great design doesn't just look good on a screen—it has to work in the paddock. Whether you are an experienced Mechanical Designer or a recent graduate with a lifetime of experience on a family farm, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for [Insert specific product, e.g., grain handling equipment / irrigation systems / custom trailers]. You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you’ll be solving real-world problems for farmers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models using [Insert Software, e.g., SolidWorks / Inventor / AutoCAD].
Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective to build.
Modify existing designs based on feedback from the field.
Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
About You

Requirements:
The "Ag" Factor: You have a background in agriculture, grew up on a farm, or have significant experience working with farm machinery. You understand how equipment is used and why durability matters.
Technical Skill: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Education: A degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!).
Communication: Ability to talk "shop" with both engineers and end-users/farmers.
Problem Solver: You can look at a mechanical issue and find a creative, sturdy solution.
