Have you had experience in the Asphalt/Civil road industry and looking for a step into a Government organisation? This role could be for you.

You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch. As part of the team, you will be working on projects on various sites around Brisbane working alongside the Asphalt crews. Both day shift and night shift roles are available. Previous night shift experience is required. ...

The role will consist of but not limited to:

Compliance monitoring of asphalt production & placement activities.
Mix temperatures
Compaction and rolling patterns
Proof rolling of underlying pavement
Straight edging
Recording and distribution of the above compliance data via lot packs / Inspection Test Plans / end of shift reporting.
Coordination and recording of calibrations for compliance devices (Temp guns, PQIs).
Provide feedback and corrective actions to quality issues.

What you need for the role:

Understanding of Industry Specifications preferred (Department or Main Roads MRTS30 & MRST32).
Communication skills to work with the Supervisor / Team Leader to affect quality outcomes.
Civil road/Asphalt industry experience required.
White card
Own car & Full Drivers License
