We are seeking a skilled BMS Operator to join the facilities management team at a major hospital precinct in Woolloongabba. This is a critical role ensuring the seamless operation of life-sustaining plant and equipment within a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, allowing you to establish yourself within a stable, long-term essential service environment while enjoying the benefits of an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and adjust BMS (Building Management Systems) to maintain optimal HVAC, air quality, and temperature controls.
Respond to system alarms and equipment failures, coordinating rapid-response repairs.
Manage critical escalation processes during system outages or emergencies.
Liaise with on-site Electricians, Fitters, and Plumbers to facilitate maintenance.
Maintain accurate digital logs and shift handover reports.
Your Profile
We are looking for a technically minded individual who thrives under pressure. To be successful, you will ideally possess:
Trade Background: Preferably a Mechanical Engineering Trade (Fitter/HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing).
Experience: Proven experience as a BMS Operator or within a high-stakes Control Room environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems and general building services.
Operational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure healthcare setting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for clear escalation and reporting.
Digital Literacy: High level of competency with computer systems and monitoring software.
Tickets: A Boiler Ticket is highly desirable (but not mandatory).
