- Willing to travel to different locations around your area including Crescent Lagoon, Gracemere, Frenchville, Wandal, Parkhurst and surrounding suburbs
- Motivation to work with primary aged children and participate in quality and engaging activities
- Australian work rights
- Willingness to obtain your valid state based Working With Children Check and Food Handling Certificate as well as mandatory national child safety and state child protection training completions
- Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities
- Able to provide contact details of two professional rmanagers / referees who can speak to your ability to work with children (eg OSHC Coordinator, EY Director, Area Manager, or similar)
A typical day will include:
- Supervising primary school children in outdoor and indoor activities
- Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational
- Setting up outside of school clubs and activities
- Offering a safe and secure environment
- Liaison with carers and families
