• Location is Port Adelaide, SA
• Ongoing Temp contract to go Perm
• Rates is $45.00 to $50.00 p/h + Super
• Monday - Friday + overtime

Our client, located in Port Adelaide, is looking for a skilled Beam-line Machinist to join their team. This company specialises in designing and manufacturing heavy structural components.

You will be part of the workshop team, machining and forming large steel components

Responsibilities:

• Creating, manufacture, testing components
• Load and program CNC machines for operations such as turning, boring, milling, or drilling metal parts.
• Set machine controls to adjust tool positioning, cutting depth, speed, and feed.
• Operate machinery to ensure optimal performance while following OH&S guidelines and safety protocols.
• Read and interpret job specifications and translate them into machine commands.

Min Requirements:

• Australian Trade-tested qualification (Cert 3), in Fitting, Machining, tool making or equivalent (but not a necessity)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Reliable and committed to workplace safety.
