Two gorgeous non-for-profit services located in the Hunter/Lake Macquarie Region are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director to join and co-lead their supportive and welcoming team. Where indoors meets interaction, and outdoors meets inspiration. The service boasts purpose-built spaces fully aligned with the EYLF, offering endless resources for genuine play and sensory discovery.
The Role
As part of their leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving high-quality standards and ensuring consistent pedagogical practice across the entire team.
- Inspiring and mentoring a team of Teachers and Educators, fostering a collaborative partnership focused on delivering exceptional care and educational outcomes.
- Responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day running and administration of the centre.
- Strategically analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify growth areas and drive service improvement.
- Fostering a constructive and engaging team environment that values respect and collaboration.
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills and have the ability to contribute effectively to a team environment by providing support to all staff as required.
About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- Current Working with Children Check
- Recent Child Protection/Safeguarding training
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
- Unrestricted working hours
