Asset Data Officer – Strategic Infrastructure (Brisbane)

Hourly rate: $66.41
Are you a meticulous Asset Data Officer ready to manage the integrity of a $40+ billion infrastructure asset portfolio for a major government client in Brisbane?
We are seeking a critical data professional for a contract role focused on maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance across vast building and asset datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integrity & Maintenance: Regularly verify the accuracy and integrity of data in the asset register. Ensure changes from construction and refurbishments are accurately recorded.
Data Sourcing & Process: Source and collect information from contractors and stakeholders for assets with incomplete data. Review and lead the development of updated business processes to maintain high-quality data entry standards.
System Alignment: Improve data quality across various core systems (like SAP Plant Maintenance) to support strategic planning and asset condition assessments.
Compliance: Maintain documentation to evidence data changes and ensure alignment with legislative and safety requirements, including the interaction between asset and asbestos register data.
About You
Experience managing data for building assets or similar infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to ensure data accuracy through strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in comparing data quality across multiple systems and using data analysis tools.
Strong communication skills to establish relationships and explain complex ideas.
Relevant qualification in data management, facilities management, or a related field is desirable.
