Randstad Professional has partnered with a prominent organisation within the Adelaide tourism sector to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator.

The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Domestic Public Relations Manager, you will be the key coordinator and administrator for a range of critical public relations activities. Your day-to-day will involve:
Media Famils & Hosting: Coordinating and executing end-to-end media and influencer familiarisation tours (famils), including itinerary development, engagement, and reporting on outcomes.
Content Coordination: Developing, researching, and fact-checking content for media, and managing the Public Relations content distribution to key stakeholders.
Logistics & Broadcasts: Overseeing broadcast opportunities, including securing locations, coordinating messaging, and managing talent/stakeholder engagement.
Administrative Backbone: Providing high-level administrative support, managing the media and influencer contact database, compiling detailed monthly Public Relations reports, and assisting with government briefings and ministerial documents.
Enquiry Management: Swiftly and accurately responding to media and influencer enquiries, ensuring the positive maintenance of the organisation's reputation.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Proven Public Relations Experience: Well-developed experience in coordinating media engagement, including developing pitch ideas, writing copy, and working effectively with Public Relations agencies and monitoring output.
Organisational Mastery: Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills, with a demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines.
Technical Acumen: Sound experience with administrative systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly advanced spreadsheet/reporting skills.
Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication, with the professional capability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders (media, influencers, industry partners).
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent job experience.
Desirable Bonus Points: Knowledge of the tourism industry, experience in event coordination (ectra bonus points if prior experience with Tour Down Under), and familiarity with the social media landscape.
