Our partner is an established and highly respected Adelaide-based arts organisation dedicated to fostering creativity, development, and opportunities for young people across South Australia. They are committed to championing youth's creative voices and delivering cultural value through statewide programs.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to fill a critical support role within their Marketing team.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Marketing Officer to join our client's team on a 0.6 FTE basis. This essential role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Development, and focuses on the effective execution and administration of key marketing and development plans.
This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with an iconic organisation and use your administrative, design, and coordination skills to directly support programs that impact young artists and creative projects statewide.
Key Responsibilities
Working directly within the client's Marketing and Development team, your key responsibilities will include:
...Design & Production: Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of marketing collateral.
Digital Content: Assist with social media content development, planning, and routine website updates using Wordpress.
Coordination: Manage print coordination, arrange the production and installation of signage, and coordinate direct marketing campaigns.
Events Support: Assist in the coordination and smooth running of various organisational events and functions.
Administration: Manage administration, systems, and processes to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of marketing and development plans.
Strategy: Contribute to the development and preparation of marketing plans and reports.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
Essential Design Skills: Proven, high-level proficiency in Canva (working with existing design templates and creating new posts) is mandatory.
Web Knowledge: Practical experience with content updates and maintenance in Wordpress.
Organisational Excellence: Strong administrative and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Communication: Highly effective written and verbal communication skills for external and internal liaison.
Advantageous: Basic understanding or proficiency in other design platforms (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photo-shop) will be a significant advantage.
Pro-activity: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
