We are seeking a delivery-focused Senior Architect to play a pivotal role in the execution of our Windows 11 Replacement Program and Engineering Workstation Stream. This is a high-impact, vendor-facing role where you will provide architectural oversight, ensure technical assurance, and integrate vendor-led designs into a complex operational environment. If you excel at resolving technical gaps and directing third-party partners to deliver fit-for-purpose endpoint solutions, this is the opportunity for you.
What You Will Do:
Provide architectural oversight and assurance for vendor-delivered Windows 11 SOE and specialist engineering workstation solutions.
Resolve technical risks, constraints, and design gaps rapidly to ensure delivery velocity and minimize rework.
Review, refine, and approve vendor-proposed architectures for identity, security, printing, and device management.
Ensure all third-party designs align with established corporate standards, security requirements, and operational needs.
Collaborate with application owners and infrastructure teams to agree on compatibility, remediation, and rollout sequencing.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Extensive hands-on architecture experience within Windows enterprise endpoint and EUC environments.
Proven track record in governing, challenging, and approving vendor-led SOE or workstation designs.
Specific experience operating within regulated, asset-intensive, or safety-critical industry environments.
Strong capability in managing identity, security, and device management integration for endpoint lifecycles.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead pragmatic technical decision-making under delivery pressure.
