Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Lead and support projects across the agency under limited direction, monitoring activities against strategic plans.
Planning & Development: Contribute to the creation and management of project schedules and artefacts in line with established frameworks.
Research & Analysis: Perform detailed research to prepare business cases, executive briefs, and status reports.
Financial & Risk Oversight: Monitor project budgets, report on expenditure, and proactively identify risks, issues, and benefits.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with team members and internal/external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose.
Skills & Experience Required
Professional Experience: 2+ years of dedicated Project Management experience, specifically within Government administration and social services sectors.
Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of public sector governance, social service frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Education: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Government, or Social Sciences, desirable.
Communication: Advanced written and verbal communication skills to deliver complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Technical Proficiency: Well-developed Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Planner.
Self-Management: Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Rights: Australian Citizenship required
