- Web Content Officer AO6 ($79- $85 + Super) - 3 months
- Graphic Designer AO5 ($69 - $75 + Super) - 12 months
- Digital Content Creator AO5 ($69 - $75 + Super) - 12 months
Role Responsibilities
1. Web Content Officer (AO6)
- Manage the day-to-day operations, updates, publishing workflows, and information architecture for web and intranet sites.
- Write and publish material adhering to best practice web writing and usability guidelines
- Work with Squiz Matrix CMS, ensure WCAG 2.1AA compliance, and manage a small digital project team.
- Monitor website performance, search optimization (SEO), and run regular site audits.
2. Senior Graphic Designer (AO5)
You will deliver high-quality creative products across digital, web, and print platforms to explain complex safety issues.
- Create social media assets, animations, publications, and presentations using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ensure all work complies with departmental branding, style guides, and policies.
- Interpret briefs from stakeholders and provide creative solutions in an agile environment.
3. Senior Digital Content Creator (AO5)
As an accomplished visual storyteller, you will produce engaging video content to support strategic objectives.
- Film and edit high-quality video content and manage photography.
- Take a "digital-first" approach, expanding the use of interactive design and innovative multimedia solutions.
- Conduct regional photo and video shoots across the state as required.
Key Selection Criteria
For the Web Content Officer
- Extensive experience with Squiz Matrix CMS and content migration.
- Strong knowledge of web development tools, interface design, and SEO monitoring.
For the Creative Roles (Graphic Designer & Content Creator):
- Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in graphic design or video production.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand visual assets.
