The Opportunity
You will act as the CFO's right-hand person, centralizing the core financial operations across a group of growing businesses. This role offers immediate scope for process ownership and significant future potential, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management (High Volume): Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (approx. 500-600 invoices monthly) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
Reconciliations & Compliance: Conduct monthly reconciliations using Excel, manage cash flow, and complete new customer credit applications.
Process Improvement: Take ownership of administrative tasks and actively contribute to the structure and efficiency of AR/AP workflows following the move away from outsourcing.
Future Growth: Potential involvement in managing payroll processing for up to five entities and liaising with external accounting firms.
Requirements & Logistics
Experience: Proven experience in AP, AR, and reconciliations, ideally in a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) environment. We are happy to train the right candidate on specific company processes.
Systems: Proficiency with Xero and strong working knowledge of Excel.
