About the role: A06 Senior legal Policy Officer

Contract Length: 6-months (possible extension)
Pay: $79- $84 Per hour + Super
Hours: Full time with hybrid model
Role Overview:
As the Senior Project Officer within the People, Information and Communication Services Division, you will drive the development, implementation, and monitoring of critical project plans. This role is essential for coordinating resources and activities to achieve departmental objectives while ensuring all initiatives align with the vision of equity and excellence in the Queensland education system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, analysis, and integration of project activities, evaluating the impact of key initiatives.
- Develop and monitor project services in close consultation with stakeholders to ensure all identified needs are met.
- Manage liaison and communication across various departmental teams contributing to project outcomes.
- Provide high-level secretariat support for project governance groups to ensure objectives are met within budget and timeframes.
- Prepare critical correspondence, policy responses, briefings, and media releases for the Minister and Director-General.
- Proactively maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients, networks, and service providers.
- Assist in the coordination and promotion of activities, policies, and procedures identified within the program.
