We are looking for an A05 Senior Finance Officer to step into a high-impact role within our Brisbane team. - A05 Rate - Paying between $69.21-$75.09 + super
- 8 month temp contact with possible extensions
- Brisbane CBD location with WFH flexibility provided.
Your Contribution
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will utilise your analytical and communication skills to:
- Manage Financial Operations: Undertake day-to-day tasks including month-end and year-end processes, journal processing, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain the integrity of general ledgers in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant legislation.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding financial policies and identify options for process improvement.
- Strategic Support: Contribute to the development and monitoring of financial management strategies to enhance sound business practices.
- Lead Training: Identify financial accounting training needs and assist in implementing programs to address them.
