Two gorgeous non-for-profit services located in the Hunter/Lake Macquarie Region are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated Assistant Director and Centre Director to join and lead their supportiv and welcoming team. Where indoors meets interaction, and outdoors meets inspiration. The service boasts purpose-built spaces fully aligned with the EYLF, offering endless resources for genuine play and sensory discovery.
The Role
As part of their leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving high-quality standards and ensuring consistent pedagogical practice across the entire team.
- Inspiring and mentoring a team of Teachers and Educators, fostering a collaborative partnership focused on delivering exceptional care and educational outcomes.
- Responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day running and administration of the centre.
- Strategically analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify growth areas and drive service improvement.
- Fostering a constructive and engaging team environment that values respect and collaboration.
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills and have the ability to contribute effectively to a team environment by providing support to all staff as required.
About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience as a Centre Director OR 2IC
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- Current Working with Children Check
- Recent Child Protection/Safeguarding training
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
- Unrestricted working hours
