Randstad Education is partnering with a highly regarded and community-focused Independent Anglican School located in Melbourne’s North-Western suburbs. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated German Teacher for a full-time contract commencing in Term 3 through to the end of the school year, with a strong view to becoming ongoing from 2027.

The Role
This is a full-time position teaching German across both junior and senior secondary cohorts, offering a fantastic balance of foundational language instruction and advanced elective teaching.
Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging German language and cultural lessons for Years 7 and 8 (average class sizes of 22–23 students), as well as highly motivated, small elective classes for Years 10 and 11.
Pedagogy: Implement interactive, communicative language methodologies that cater to diverse learning styles and instil a genuine love for linguistics and culture.
Workload: Focus purely on your classroom teaching and subject delivery, with an exemption from home group/pastoral care duties for the duration of the 2026 contract.
Collaboration: Work alongside a collegial, supportive, and well-resourced Languages faculty to share best practices and modern learning experiences.
Successful Candidate Profile
Qualifications: Full or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
Attributes: Exceptional language proficiency, an engaging classroom presence, and a respectful alignment with the school’s Anglican ethos. The capability to nurture small senior cohorts while keeping junior classes enthusiastic is essential.
