Randstad is recruiting an accomplished Transformation Project Manager for the WA Government sector. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional with strong relationship-building skills to join a collaborative team and drive impactful change.
About your new role
The Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for leading and facilitating end-to-end organisational transformation initiatives that align with the departments objectives and operating model. Acting as a business-focused coach and guide rather than a traditional, directive manager, the role involves building trust and guiding cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners through complex changes. While ensuring strong project governance, risk management, and delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and quality, the manager will place human-centred adoption, cultural shift, and business outcome achievement at the centre of all planning and execution.
What you will need to exceed
... - Expertise in applying governance frameworks, maintaining RAID/RASCI registers, executing Statements of Work (SOW) and Master Services Agreements (MSA)
- Experience in collecting data, writing user stories, performing empathy mapping, writing SQL queries, building PMO dashboards, producing SteerCo packs, and tracking velocity/burnup metrics.
- Ability to unify competing priorities across clients, contractors, vendors, and government agencies, as well as lead cross-functional workshops, stand-ups, and meetings.
- Skilled in pre-inception planning, defining project scope, tracking budgets (baseline/variance), resource planning, release planning, and maintaining project controls.
- Practical knowledge in sprint planning, WSJF prioritization, backlog refinement, retrospectives, pre-inception/inception, and iterative delivery.
- Experience coordinating complex programs and initiatives across government, emergency management, eCommerce, and regulated industries.
- Experience managing end-to-end transformation programs, establishing offshore delivery models, and supporting year-over-year revenue growth (e.g., Just Group).
