To work in aged care, you need educational qualifications in individual support. Pursue a Certificate III in Individual Support at a Registered Training Organisation. Some courses offer specialisation options, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support (ageing) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support. You also need a police check and first aid certificate.
