PMO Delivery Consultant
The Opportunity Establish clear delivery rhythm and operational visibility across a major corporate human resources portfolio. This initial 2 to 6 month advisory engagement embeds a governance specialist directly within a critical Centre of Expertise to drive digital rollout momentum and institutional accountability.
The Role You will manage delivery discipline, tracking pathways, and risk structures across three integrated workstreams. The immediate operational focus centers on coordinating the business readiness, stakeholder communications, and user adoption of a newly selected case management software platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Reinforce governance cadence, decision pathways, and dependency tracking across the portfolio.
- Maintain absolute visibility of operational risks and delivery blockers, escalating issues directly to executive leadership forums.
- Design, implement, and maintain portfolio reporting mechanics to ensure individual business unit owners retain structural accountability for their outcomes.
- Support effective business as usual handover and continuity planning before, during, and after the deployment phase.
This position operates purely as a delivery coordinator and governance advisor: you will support individual business owners without taking line management authority or executing system development.
The Tech Stack & Environment: You will manage and contribute to live tracking dashboards, map complex task dependencies, design custom workflows, and run status updates inside the tool to replace traditional manual status assembly. The broader technical environment interacts with large enterprise software applications, focusing specifically on the rollout and adoption of an identified corporate case management system.
What You'll Bring
- Hands On Project Coordination: Proven background running weekly project alignment meetings, managing action trackers, identifying blockers, and compiling concise weekly executive briefings.
- Modern PM Tool Fluency: Practical, day to day working knowledge of modern project management tools, explicitly including Asana, Jira, and MS Project.
- PPM Methodology Expertise: Deep understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) structures, governance workflows, risk profiling, and project level administration.
- Consultative Execution Style: A proactive, self starting approach with the ability to manage extensive project data and drive delivery milestones effectively.
