The Role
This is a full-time position focused on delivering Years 7–10 English and Humanities (no VCE requirements), creating engaging learning experiences, and fostering student curiosity.
Plan and deliver dynamic, high-quality lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 7–10 English and Humanities.
Utilise inclusive, student-centred teaching strategies that cater to varied learning needs and foster critical thinking.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment consistent with the school’s Catholic ethos.
Work closely with an experienced faculty to ensure seamless continuity of learning for students during this leave coverage.
Successful Candidate Profile
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and relevant Tertiary Teaching Qualifications.
Full Australian working rights required.
Demonstrated ability teaching English and Humanities up to Year 10 level.
Respectful of the school’s Catholic ethos, adaptable, energetic, and capable of rapidly building positive rapport with students and staff.
