The Role
These positions focus on delivering engaging, contemporary English and Humanities curricula across Years 7–12, fostering critical thinking, historical inquiry, and a lifelong appreciation for literature and global perspectives.
Design and execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE study designs for English, History, and Geography.
Utilise inquiry-based learning strategies and modern digital technologies to differentiate teaching and cater to diverse learning styles.
Cultivate an empowering, inclusive classroom atmosphere where student curiosity, voice, and academic rigour thrive.
Partner with collaborative faculties to design modern learning experiences, assess student progress, and drive continuous improvement.
Successful Candidate Profile
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (Provisional or Full) and relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
Full Australian working rights required (Australian/NZ Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid visa with full-time work rights).

Randstad Education is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We take steps to achieve this through our candidate application process. All Applicants are required to provide a valid state based Working with Children’s Check which is thoroughly screened. In some circumstances, a Federal Police Check and an International Police Clearance is also required. Your consultant will be able to advise if this is applicable to you. Lastly, references are conducted in relation to the applicant’s interactions with children using an online platform that has an inbuilt fraud alert. Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
