Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level technical guidance and subject matter expertise on complex building registration and licensing applications.
Prepare clear, succinct technical reports and briefs to support informed, consistent decision-making.
Engage collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, including industry participants and consumers.
Maintain accurate, transparent records, quality assurance manuals, and database systems.
Contribute to process improvements and innovative solutions within the licensing assessment function.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications: Current registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Domestic Builder (Unlimited), Building Surveyor, or Building Inspector, paired with extensive industry experience.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of relevant Victorian building codes, standards, and legislation within a regulatory context.
Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, strong self-management skills, and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
Licensing: A current Victorian Driver’s License and willingness to complete standard background checks.
