One of our State Government Clients are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & Recruitment Leader/ Project Officer to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving workforce transformation within Victorian government sector. As part of this priority project, you will collaborate with change management experts to deliver impactful solutions and foster positive change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR & Recruitment workstream of the project, providing strategic direction and operational support.
- Support recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Undertake project planning and ensure effective project management to meet timelines and deliverables.
- Document processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency across the project.
- Prepare and disseminate communications to keep the project team and stakeholders informed of progress and key developments.
- Facilitate formal and informal decision-making processes, including preparing briefings and leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support and additional capacity in the Workforce Transition Planning, Change Management, and Communications workstreams.
- Execute the Workforce Transition Plan and the Change and Communications Plan to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new initiatives.
- Develop materials to build the capability of new staff and facilitate effective onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in HR and recruitment, with a focus on project leadership and change management.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning and transition processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Experience in the education sector or government projects is preferred but not required.
