Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Leadership: Partner directly with the General Manager and site leadership on organizational design, headcount planning, change management, and culture.
Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage complex ER/IR cases, dispute resolutions, and grievances. Ensure full compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and National Employment Standards (NES). Mitigate legal risks around redundancies and terminations.
Talent Acquisition & Branding: Drive rapid end-to-end recruitment across departments, partner with hiring managers to build talent pipelines, and elevate employer branding.
Performance & Talent Development: Implement performance management systems, career pathing frameworks, and leadership coaching programs.
HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee HRIS processes, policy governance, local employment contract compliance, payroll governance, and superannuation obligations.
Data & Analytics: Track key HR metrics (turnover, engagement, performance trends) to guide executive decision-making.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Demonstrated progressive HR experience, ideally within HVAC, manufacturing, or growth-stage operational environments.
Legal Expertise: Deep knowledge of local labor laws (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, NES).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills: Strong change management, negotiation, and influence skills; balance of high-level strategy with hands-on HR execution; proficiency with modern HR tech tools.
