About the Opportunity
This is opportunity will see you step into step into a key technical leadership role. You will take ownership of diverse range of projects including health, education, retail, multi residential, and commercial developments, while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
End to End Design: Deliver detailed designs and documentation for electrical services (power distribution, lighting, communications, security, nurse call, and fire systems).
Project Leadership: Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, and contract administration.
Site Management: Conduct thorough site investigations and produce comprehensive technical reports.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with NCC, Australian Standards, Green Star, and NABERS requirements.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers while managing quality assurance processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A minimum of 5 years of Australian commercial building services engineering experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; MIEAust status (eligible for listing on the NER).
Licensed in Tasmania as a Building Services Provider – Individual Building Services Engineer Unrestricted (or eligible to obtain).
Strong knowledge of power, lighting, NCC codes, and sustainability frameworks.
Exceptional client-facing, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
