Locations
Multiple Locations Across Victoria (e.g., Greater Melbourne, Regional Victoria, and interstate opportunities available)
Travel/LAFHA (Living Away From Home Allowance) options available for specific project-based roles
Role & Responsibilities
Perform construction, maintenance, asset replacement, and fault response work on distribution overhead networks.
Carry out pole replacements, conductor stringing, transformer installations, and hardware upgrades.
Perform live-line or de-energised work in accordance with network rules and safety procedures.
Execute high-risk activities including Elevating Work Platform (EWP) operations and rigging/dogging duties.
Read and interpret electrical network drawings, task specifications, and switching schedules.
Ensure all works strictly comply with safety standards, network procedures, and quality guidelines.
Participate in on-call or emergency response rosters as required.
What You Will Need
Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems (Distribution Overhead) or recognized Australian equivalent.
Relevant Network Authorizations/Inductions (e.g., UE, Powercor, AusNet, Jemena, or interstate equivalent network approvals).
Current Heavy Vehicle (HR/HC) Driver’s Licence.
National Construction Induction Card (White Card).
High Risk Work Licences: Elevating Work Platform (WP) and Dogging (DG) / Rigging (RB/RI).
First Aid, CPR, Low Voltage Rescue (LVR), and Pole Top Rescue certifications.
Demonstrated experience in distribution overhead line construction, maintenance, and fault response.
