Due to exciting team growth and ongoing demand across our Infrastructure, Civil, and Trades portfolios, Randstad Australia is looking for driven Consultants / Delivery Consultants to join our dedicated Trades and Labour Delivery Centre team
In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of our operations—connecting skilled tradespeople and construction talent with leading tier 1 employers in infrastructure. You’ll manage high-volume temporary placements, maintain tight compliance standards, and act as a trusted operational partner to key hiring managers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Growth: Proactively identify and secure new partnerships through strategic Account development within our Major accounts across Infrastructure, waste management and Defence.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop our market share and presence against our clients / Build authentic, long-term partnerships with site managers and project leads across, map out future projects. Pro-actively map out other sites and projects that we are currently not supplying to within these major accounts to improve our market share and grow spend.
- High-Volume Candidate Sourcing: Proactively recruit, screen, and build active Focus Talent Groups (FTGs) for qualified trades, plant operators, civil labor, and specialized blue-collar roles.
- Fast-Paced Delivery & Matching: Swiftly fill open job orders—aiming for rapid, high-quality candidate submissions within 48 hours.
- Roster & Account Coordination: Manage ongoing temporary rosters, assignment extensions, and candidate redeployment as site phases change.
- Compliance & Risk Oversight: Ensure 100% compliance with legislative, Work Health & Safety (WHS), and credit risk policies (including candidate tickets, rights-to-work, and client agreement terms). Manage any incidents and accidents in tandem without WHS, HR and IR teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Blue collar agency Experience: Prior recruitment, agency delivery, or account management experience within the industrial sector, Trades & Labour, Construction, Civil, or Heavy Industrial sectors is highly regarded.
- Master of Prioritisation: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, urgent site orders, and candidate requests in a high-volume environment without missing a beat.
- People-First Mindset: Exceptional emotional intelligence, active listening, and negotiation skills to build trust with both site workers and executive hiring managers.
- Compliance Minded: High attention to detail regarding safety, onboarding checks, and commercial terms.
- Resilience & Agility: A positive, energetic attitude that stays composed under pressure and enjoys working collaboratively in a team.
