A leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly customer-focused Receptionist to join their team in Albion. This is a permanent, full-time campus-based position for someone ready to take true responsibility and ownership of the front-facing engine room of our institute.

If you are a self-starter who excels at building positive relationships, thrives in a high-compliance digital environment, and loves creating an exceptional first impression for students and visitors alike, this is the role for you.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be the first point of contact for the organisation, ensuring a professional, welcoming front-of-house experience and the smooth daily running of the campus. Your daily accountabilities will include:

  • Campus Readiness: Open and ready the campus systems, lights, and reception completing daily safety walkthroughs and maintaining the Safety and Maintenance logbook.
  • Student Sign-in & Compliance Checks: Manage accurate student sign-ins, conduct required prerequisite and visa eligibility checks, and track weekly online pre-training completions.
  • Enrolment & Enquiries: Respond to course enquiries, process routine enrolments, withdrawals, and transfers within policy, and log Price Match claims.
  • Administration & Records Management: Scan and route student records and post in line with strict RTO record-retention standards, and issue hard-copy certificates for full qualifications.
  • Front-Counter Operations: Handle front-counter student payments and payment plans, manage student stock (handbooks/first aid kits), and accurately route incoming calls and customer feedback.
  • Visitor & Safety Management: Manage visitor sign-ins and maintain current attendance lists to support emergency and evacuation procedures.

About You

We are looking for an organised professional with a strong compliance mindset who takes pride in maintaining an immaculate front-of-house environment. To be successful, you will possess:

  • Experience: Proven front-office or customer-service experience with a professional manner and accurate data entry skills in an RTO environment.
  • Compliance Mindset: High integrity and strict adherence to records management, confidentiality, and student privacy (APPs).
  • Technical Literacy: Comfort using modern databases; prior experience or familiarity with aXcelerate (or a similar student management system) is highly desirable.
  • Industry Background: Previous experience working within an education or RTO setting is a must.
  • Organisation: The ability to stay calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and support the broader training team.
