This is a temporary full-time position with genuine potential to transition into a permanent role. You will play a pivotal role in shaping workplace culture, optimizing HR systems, and supporting a dedicated workforce delivering essential care and services.You will lead a team (including a Talent Acquisition Specialist and P&C Administrator) and manage core HR operational and strategic initiatives:
Operations & Leadership: Drive daily P&C management while leading, mentoring, and developing the internal HR team.
Cyclic HR Processes: Direct group-wide cyclic processes, including performance management, salary reviews, succession planning, and talent retention.
HR Systems & Reporting: Oversee HRIS functionality (ideally EmploymentHero), analyze workforce metrics, and deliver monthly executive reporting.
Policy & Compliance: Review, update, and draft organizational P&C policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.
Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Forecast staffing needs, execute job evaluations, and oversee onboarding and pre-employment checks.
Industrial & Employee Relations: Assist with industrial relations matters, including staff Enterprise Agreement reviews and negotiations.
Culture, Equity & Inclusion: Promote organizational values and establish initiatives that foster diversity, inclusion, and high employee engagement.
Learning & Development: Support the creation and execution of a learning framework, skills matrix, and professional development plans.
Experience & Skills:
Experience across generalist operations, performance management, ER/IR, L&D, and policy.
Proven experience managing HR systems, with hands-on EmploymentHero experience highly regarded.
Demonstrated capability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent time management skills with a track record of balancing competing priorities.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
