THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You will manage the end-to-end processing of time sheets and maintain the integrity of the payroll database.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage time sheets, salary variations, and allowances.
Process commencements, terminations, leave bookings, and deductions.
Ensure all entries comply with relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Maintain confidential personnel files in accordance with government legislation.
Act as a point of contact for payroll inquiries, escalating complex issues to Senior Payroll Officers when required.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Background: Prior experience in finance, payroll, or financial auditing within large and complex organisations.
Technical Skills: Highly computer savvy and confident working extensively with Excel spreadsheets.
Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills, an investigative mindset, and the ability to gather and collate information from multiple sources.
Volume & Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive, high-volume tasks accurately and independently.
Audit Experience: Proven capability in undertaking audits, reconciliations, or complex leave-related processing.
WHAT IS OF OFFER:
Pay Rate: $55 – $68.47 per hour + Superannuation
Duration: 6-month contract
