Having partnered with this organisation since 2019, we have placed multiple candidates within their payroll team who have provided excellent feedback, with many choosing to stay long-term. They are now seeking a Payroll Advisor to join their team on an 8-month fixed-term basis.

About the role:
Reporting into the HR Enablement & Support Partner and working in a collaborative team environment, your duties will include:
- Conducting end-to-end processing of payroll for a nominated group of employees
- Maintaining all employee records relevant to core payroll activities
- Processing cessations of employment in line with statutory requirements
- Responding to and resolving payroll queries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and organizational policies to ensure compliance
- Assisting with the payment of PAYG tax, payroll audits and End of Financial Year (EOFY) activities
About you:
- 3+ years of recent experience in a dedicated, end-to-end payroll position
- Experience using a large, high-volume payroll system (experience with Aurion is highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk minimisation and core payroll concepts
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus and high attention to detail
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Certificate
