- Investigations & Compliance: Investigate complaints regarding unsightly properties, overhanging vegetation, dumped rubbish, occupation of Council land, and street furniture.
- Enforcement & Court Prep: Issue infringements and warnings for non-compliance. Conduct high-level investigations, maintain comprehensive case notes (CRM/Objective), prepare documentation for potential prosecutions, and attend Magistrates Court to give evidence when required.
- Animal Management & Park Patrols: Conduct regular park patrols to monitor responsible pet ownership, handle animal collections, and ensure compliance to decrease dog attacks.
- Parking & Civic Duties: Perform parking enforcement, school crossings, and tobacco inspections as required to maintain community safety and amenity.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Respond promptly and courteously to all community enquiries, managing ongoing cases with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.

To be successful in these roles, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Qualifications: Completion of an industry-recognised course in animal management, enforcement, compliance, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including the Local Government Act, Road Safety Act, and Domestic Animals Act.
- Enforcement Skills: Proficiency in evidence collection, comprehensive note-taking, and report preparation.
- Customer Service & Conflict Resolution: Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to resolve sensitive, high-pressure situations with empathy.
