We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Lab Technician to join our team in Townsville. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and repeatability of concrete testing while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all laboratory and field testing of concrete in strict compliance with required minimum standards.
- Ensure accurate testing integrity and repeatability (the main challenge of the role).
- Maintain quality control through excellent housekeeping, regular equipment checks, and immediate reporting of any product performance issues.
- Comply with all safety regulations, attend daily start-up meetings and toolbox talks, and actively report and investigate hazards or incidents.
- Ensure all environmental and sustainability requirements are met, including EPA license conditions.
- Work closely with clients to build strong relationships and achieve customer service goals.
- Support operational improvement initiatives and complete varied duties based on training and skills.
- Participate in required training, annual dialogue reviews, and demonstrate integrity to help motivate the team.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be based in or able to commute daily to Townsville.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have your own reliable working vehicle to get to work.
- Must be able to successfully pass a Police Check.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
