HR Advisor | Full-Time Permanent
Canning Vale, Western Australia
The role
This is a key HR position supporting the WA business of a global organisation, with plenty of variety across the broader people function. As the HR Advisor, you’ll be the main HR contact for the WA team, partnering closely with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to a senior HR leader based interstate, this role will cover the full end-to-end HR generalist function, including employee relations, performance, payroll, talent, HR operations and organisational change.
The role will initially be based 5 days onsite in Canning Vale, with the opportunity to work from home once you’re established in the role.
There’s also the opportunity to get involved in broader ANZ projects, working with the wider People team.
Your role
- Act as the primary HR contact for the WA business
- Partner with leaders and managers on day-to-day people matters
- Coordinate payroll inputs and work with external payroll providers
- Provide practical advice across employee relations, performance and workplace policies
- Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to retention and development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activity
- Support talent management, succession planning and leadership development
- Assist with organisational change and people projects
About you
We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist who is comfortable working independently and enjoys having broad exposure across the people function.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Solid experience interpreting Awards
- Experience across employee relations and performance management
- Exposure to payroll administration or working with a payroll provider
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
