Ready to make a real impact in WA’s public sector? Randstad is looking for a skilled Economic & Project Evaluation Specialist who brings sharp attention to detail, thrives on building strong relationships, and embraces complex challenges in a team-oriented environment.
About your new role
The Economic & Project Evaluation Specialist serves as the lead technical and strategic expert responsible for the economic appraisal and business case development of major programs and capital investments. ... Expert in Benefit–Cost Analysis (BCA), options analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk and uncertainty modelling.
Skilled at synthesising complex technical inputs—such as engineering estimates, demand forecasting, and environmental impacts—into robust financial and economic models.
Proven experience structuring, drafting, and assuring complex, multi-stage business cases from initial strategic merit through to final investment decision.
Deep understanding of post-completion evaluation frameworks to measure, track, and verify real-world outcomes against predicted project benefits.
Strong track record of success working on high-value, high-complexity capital projects within public sector bodies, utilities, energy, or economic consultancies.
Experienced in guiding cross-functional internal teams and directing external specialist consultants to deliver rigorous outputs to strict deadlines.
