... Position Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Operator with experience in hardships, debt collection, or insolvency to join their Credit Control team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing diverse customer interactions, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Your contributions will play a vital role in the continuous improvement of our client's collections processes and systems, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily reports on customer accounts, payments, and collections while managing inbound/outbound calls and responding to customer emails promptly.
- Assist customers in creating and managing tailored repayment plans, providing empathetic support to those experiencing financial hardship, and offering guidance and assistance in navigating their challenges.
- Follow up regularly on payment variations to ensure adherence to agreed-upon plans and identify potential insolvency early, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Stay informed on relevant regulations and best practices in credit control, hardship support, and insolvency procedures, contributing to the development and improvement of team policies and procedures.
Minimum requirements:
- 1-2 year experience within a similar role.

- Demonstrate empathy towards customers and foster a collaborative team environment. Show understanding and assistance to both customers and colleagues.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, prioritizing transparency and openness. Actively listen to customer concerns and provide clear information and solutions.
- Maintain composure under pressure, handle difficult conversations with patience and professionalism, and manage stress effectively to ensure high-quality service.
