What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day will be varied and physically active, supporting road maintenance projects. Tasks include:
Road Maintenance & Repair: Performing hands-on construction tasks, including pothole patching, asphalt laying, and extensive manual shovelling and raking.
Vegetation & Grounds Work: Assisting with rural tree trimming, clearing debris, and operating handheld equipment like chainsaws and pole saws.
Site Support & Groundwork: Handling materials, manual slinging and shifting of cement pipes, and spotting for equipment operators to ensure site safety.
Worksite Preparation: Loading and unloading materials, setting up hand tools, and maintaining clean, safe sites.
Licences and Qualifications Highly Desired:
Medium Rigid (MR) Licence: Mandatory.
White Card: General construction induction.
Physical Fitness: Capability to comfortably perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
