In this role, you will operate plant machinery to manage aggregate stockpiles, load trucks, feed crushing and screening plants, and assist with general quarry maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate plant machinery to load trucks, feed crushing plants, and stockpile materials.

• Pre-Start Checks: Perform daily pre-operational inspections, fuel checks, fluid top-ups, and report any maintenance issues promptly.

• Site Safety: Adhere strictly to quarry safety protocols, traffic management plans, and environmental compliance guidelines.

• Production & Scale Integrity: Work with automated scale systems to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and legally.

• Housekeeping: Maintain clean, safe working areas around stockpiles, ramps, and plant equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years operating plant machinery in a quarry, mining, or heavy civil earthmoving environment.

• Tickets / Licenses:

  • Valid Driver’s License - Class HR / C / Heavy Rigged preferred.

  • Loader Ticket (RIIMPO304E or equivalent) is highly regarded.

  • White Card / General Construction Induction

• Skills: Strong understanding of stockpiling techniques, bench management, and truck loading procedures.

• Safety Mindset: Proven commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS/OHS) with a clean safety record.

• Fitness & Reliability: Physical capability to perform pre-starts and minor maintenance, with a dependable work ethic and good communication skills.

• Pre-Employment Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
