Driven by a strong, secured pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking a dual-threat candidate who can manage the commercial lifecycle of a project—from initial tender submission through to post-award contract administration and final handover.

What You’ll Be Doing
Pre-Construction & Estimating
Review tender packages, architectural/services plans, specifications, and head-contract requirements.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs for suspended ceilings, steel stud partitions, plasterboard linings, bulkheads, acoustic systems, and insulation.
Build accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, plant, and preliminaries using current rates and productivity standards.
Request and vet supplier/subcontractor quotes to verify scope coverage, lead times, and commercial conditions.
Identify scope gaps, raise RFIs, draft tender qualifications, and prepare value-management proposals.
Prepare end-to-end tender submissions and join the Directors in pre-award meetings.
Contract Administration & Commercial Delivery
Work alongside the Operations Manager to drive day-to-day project administration (POs, RFIs, Variations).
Establish project budgets, cost codes, and procurement schedules within JACK APP.
Issue detailed labour and material purchase orders with clearly defined schedules and scopes.
Oversee variations end-to-end—pricing, tracking, securing approvals, and integrating them into progress claims.
Manage monthly progress claims, payment schedules, retentions, and final account closures.
Candidate Profile
Industry Expertise: Experience within the Commercial Ceiling, Partition, or Wall/Fitout industry is strongly preferred.
Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, or Estimating.
Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Cubit, CostX) and job management software (experience with JACK APP is a major plus).
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of proprietary ceiling/partition systems, acoustic/fire-rated systems, the NCC, and relevant Australian Standards.
Compliance: Valid Construction Industry White Card and full working rights in Australia.
