About the Role Are you a highly organized administrator with a passion for the community and the arts? We are looking for an Arts and Culture Administration Officer to provide effective, high-quality administrative support to our flexible Arts and Cultural Services team.
In this multifaceted role, you will serve as the heartbeat of our office—managing front-line customer service, processing bookings, maintaining digital platforms, and handling daily financial reconciliations. What You Will Do
Customer Service & Support: Act as the first point of contact for the community, providing welcoming front-desk, online, and telephone support.
Bookings & Enrolments: Manage end-to-end administration for program bookings, studio enrolments, and associated records.
Financial Administration: Process accounts payable, handle high-precision cash/EFTPOS transactions, and manage daily banking reconciliations.
Digital & Promotions: Author web and social media content, distribute digital newsletters, and support marketing campaigns.
Office Coordination: Monitor incoming unit emails, manage mail distribution, and maintain inventory for office and studio supplies.
Who You Are
Experienced Administrator: You hold a post-secondary qualification in office administration (or a related discipline) or possess equivalent hands-on experience.
Customer-Centric: You bring a positive attitude and have an innate ability to build rapport with people of all ages, needs, and cultural backgrounds.
Tech-Savvy: You are digitally literate, with proven experience using backend ticketing/booking systems and web-authoring tools.
Organized & Conscientious: You have excellent time management skills, strong data accuracy, and the ability to balance multiple demands.
A Relationship Builder: You communicate clearly, respect confidentiality, and bring a cooperative, problem-solving spirit to the workplace.
Key Requirements
Experience with EFTPOS payments and daily financial reconciliation.
Strong communication skills for standard correspondence and digital content.
Ability to implement safe workplace practices (including workplace safety protocols).
A valid Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
