We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the energy and cabling sector to find a dynamic Account Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the management of key partner accounts. Your primary objective will be to increase profitable distributor sales by driving their sell-out towards end-customer needs and to position the company as the distributor's preferred partner.

Key Responsibilities
... - Develop strong relationships and a deep understanding of partners and their functional leaders.
- Negotiate pricing, manage sales quotations, and create commercial proposals that reconcile the partner's interests with the company's targets for gross-margin improvements.
- Educate distributors to take advantage of untapped end-customer needs to generate profitable and sustainable growth.
- Manage Key Account Plan execution, efficiently steer contract terms, distributor rebates, and incentives.
- Build sales forecasts and contribute to consensus forecasts within S&OP routines in collaboration with production.
- Promote sustainability by reporting data such as CO2 consumption, recycled content, and transport carbon footprint to partners.
- Achieve pricing targets, manage commercial and service performance for period contracts, and ensure on-time delivery of products.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in Engineering and/or a relevant Trade Skill, though candidates with excellent relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and Key Account Management experience.
- Experience in the Electricity Supply Industry market is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent Excel, report writing, and presentation skills.
- A current driving licence is required for this role.
