About the Role
This is a full-time, onsite position at the Qantas Drive workshop. Offering a salary of $70K-75K per annum with a commencement date in July, this position is initially an ongoing contract that holds excellent potential to transition into a long-term permanent career opportunity as you meet the business criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Maintain and update critical maintenance records accurately within the system.
Timekeeping: Manage and process daily timesheet entries for a workshop team of approximately 10–11 staff.
Workshop Support: Create and oversee job cards and work orders to support efficient daily workshop operations.
Financial Admin: Process invoices efficiently and accurately.
Planning & Scheduling: Assist with scheduling by utilizing the EROAD platform to monitor service schedules across a fleet of approximately 300 assets (not required on a daily basis).
Team Collaboration: Provide ad-hoc support to the broader team, including assisting other state teams with matching administrative duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Industry Experience: Proven administrative experience working within a fleet, transport, or logistics environment.
Environment: Prior experience navigating a large, complex organizational structure is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is essential. Familiarity with JDEGS or the EROAD platform is an advantage.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
