Randstad is currently seeking multiple Safety Officers for a 2-week shutdown project based in Tumut, NSW, starting this October.

What We Offer
Project Duration: 2-week shutdown (October start)
Roster: Day shift only (12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $60/hr flat rate
Allowance: $50 daily meal allowance

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and implement site-specific Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) plans aligned with client requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, safety audits, task observations, and site inspections.
Lead incident investigations and complete accurate project documentation.
Provide active safety support and guidance to site contractors.
Build and manage strong relationships with on-site contractors and key stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) is mandatory.
Previous shutdown experience in mining, civil construction, or blue-collar/trade environments.
Proven ability to manage safety documentation, audits, and risk management processes.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.
