About the Role We are seeking a creative and driven Digital Content Producer to join a dynamic Talent Attraction Unit. This role is open to multiple public sector classification levels, welcoming applicants at the ASO5 level or above (including experienced ASO6 senior content producers or digital leads).
Reporting directly to the Recruitment Marketing Lead, this role is responsible for providing end-to-end digital content creation services to support a major talent attraction strategy. Higher-level candidates will have the opportunity to take greater strategic ownership of campaigns and provide leadership support within the team. Key Responsibilities
Multimedia Production: Develop high-quality video, photographic, pre-recorded, and podcast content for digital storytelling and marketing across websites, YouTube, and social media channels.
Shoot Coordination: Capture and source content onsite, including organising and managing internal video shoots and digital recordings with agency staff.
Live-stream Management: Coordinate live-stream assets, technology, and equipment to ensure a professional, mid-level broadcast environment.
Brand & Advice: Provide expert design and production advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring all digital products strictly adhere to the Brand Style Guide, cultural sensitivities, and accessibility standards.
Project Delivery: Undertake and coordinate small-scale digital multimedia projects in a timely, cost-effective manner. Candidates applying at higher levels will actively lead complex projects and mentor junior staff.
What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you must bring:
Technical Production Skills: Proven experience in digital production, including working knowledge of video and image editing programs, audio production, and live streaming environments.
Digital Storytelling: Strong visual communication expertise with a demonstrated ability to turn complex concepts into engaging layouts and creative content for diverse target audiences.
Operational Autonomy: Proven capacity to manage high-volume workloads under limited direction, apply sound judgment, and respond flexibly to changing priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Sound interpersonal skills with a confident, professional approach to dealing with a wide range of internal and external partners.
Desirable: A tertiary qualification in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
Special Conditions & Eligibility
Work Status: Applicants must hold a current, valid Australian work eligibility status.
Clearances: You must hold or be willing to obtain a valid National Police Clearance and a current Working with Children Check.
Flexibility: Some out-of-hours work and occasional intrastate or interstate travel may be required to fulfill project demands.
Records Compliance: Commitment to maintaining accurate records in accordance with the State Records Act 1997 and public sector ethical frameworks.
