About your next roleAs a Store Manager Couple, you will be the heart of the community, responsible for the successful operation of a remote supermarket while mentoring local talent.
Oversee the daily operations and financial performance of ALPA supermarkets in remote settings
Coach, mentor, and support local team members to build community capacity
Bring ALPA’s nutrition policy to life by actively promoting healthier food choices to members
Work closely with merchandising and nutrition teams to ensure high standards of stock and service
Engage with community leaders to ensure the store meets the unique needs of the local area
Maintain a smooth-running retail environment through effective stock control and scheduling
You are a resilient, culturally aware leadership duo with a background in high-volume retail and a passion for people development.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail management is essential
Strong technical knowledge of electronic retail systems, including POS, stock control, and staff scheduling
Certificate III in Retail, or a genuine willingness to complete this qualification within your first 12 months
High level of adaptability and the ability to thrive in remote or regional settings
Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to cultural awareness
Proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive positive community outcomes
