The Role
Joining a well-established, high-calibre team, you will take full ownership of landmark commercial transformations across Brisbane. In this role, you will:
...Forecast and manage project budgets, driving commercial outcomes and maintaining strict fiscal control throughout the project life cycle.
Ensure uncompromising quality processes, safety standards, and project delivery across all your projects and team members.
Act as the primary point of contact, seamlessly managing RFIs and communication across clients, architects, superintendents, and consultants.
Drive end-to-end procurement, including defining scopes of work and compiling comprehensive tender packages.
Leverage exceptional delivery to grow key accounts, strengthen client relationships, and help expand the business unit.
Experience & Requirements
A stable, demonstrated track record successfully delivering commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects in the Tier 1/2 space (genuinely passionate about fit-out over new builds).
2–5 years of experience in a Senior Project Manager role within a head contractor environment, with solid experience leading fitout and refurbishment projects up to $20M.
Must be locally based in Brisbane (daily travel from the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast is not suitable).
Advanced capability in managing construction programmes, master scheduling, look-aheads (including 2-week look-aheads), and sequencing trades to hit tight deadlines.
Proficient in industry-standard software, specifically Procore and Jobpac (or equivalent management platforms).
A strong team player with a motivated, proactive attitude. You possess natural leadership ability, exceptional communication skills, and view project management as a key driver for building great client relationships and winning repeat business.
A relevant trade background or a tertiary degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
