Rate: $99.00/hr + super

About the Client A leading WA electrical provider dedicated to maintaining high-performance safety standards across power generation operations.
About the Role Joining a tight-knit team of 3, you will partner with functional and operational stakeholders to provide practical H&S advice, coaching, and risk management leadership. Reporting to the Safety Lead, you will spend 2 days at Cockburn PS, 2 days at Pinjar PS, and have the flexibility to choose your site for the 5th day.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver practical H&S guidance and coach site personnel on proactive risk management.
Conduct incident investigations, analyse data, and build clear safety reports.
Apply risk management tools, interpreting risk matrices, likelihood, and consequences.
Monitor compliance against H&S standards, systems, and WHS legislation.
Utilize internal H&S software to log and manage hazards and corrective actions.
What We’re Looking For
Influential Communicator: Ability to guide decision-making through coaching and influence rather than top-down policing.
Relationship Builder: Confident engaging with new stakeholders and managing tough conversations constructively.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of risk matrices, incident investigation processes (ICAM preferred), and relevant WHS legislation.
Autonomy & Literacy: Self-motivated, computer literate, and able to work independently across operational sites.
Background: Experience in power generation, resources, or heavy industrial operations with a valid WA ‘C’ Class driver's licence.
