This is a premier opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Fitter Machinist seeking technical challenges and long-term stability in a dynamic, hands-on workshop environment. Located in Werombi, you will be responsible for the precision manufacturing, assembly, repair, and maintenance of high-quality mechanical components and machinery.
Stepping into this pivotal role, you will utilise advanced manual and CNC machining techniques to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and precision engineering.

Advanced Machining: Operate and maintain a variety of manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills (specifically DN Solutions Puma 3100LY 4-axis horizontal lathe and DN Solutions DNM 6700 4-axis vertical machining centre).
CAM Programming: Perform programming using CAM software, with a strong preference for GIBBS CAM.
Fitting & Assembly: Execute the precise fitting, alignment, and assembly of mechanical parts and systems.
Diagnostics & Overhauls: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical issues, implementing effective repair and preventative maintenance solutions.
Quality Assurance: Conduct dimensional checks using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers) and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Fabrication (Preferred): Assist with component fabrication, including MIG welding and laser/plasma cutting where required.
Trade Qualified: Holds a Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
Experienced Pro: 7+ years of experience in precision engineering machining, fitting, and assembly.
Technical Expert: Highly proficient with both manual and CNC machinery, Fanuc controllers, Renishaw probes, and reading technical schematics.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and a strict commitment to workplace safety.
Adaptable: A strong communicator and team player who can adapt to changing project requirements.
